The Rohingya are forbidden from marrying and travelling inside Burma, they are allowed travelling only around the place where they live. They have no permission to involve any business and to own land.
they are also denied citizenship by the brutal military government.
The oppressive regime military government said They were not included among 135 of Burma's ethnic groups because they were considered as migrant foreigners from Bangladesh when Burma's Citizenship Laws decided which race/ethnicity has lived long enough in Burma to be its citizens.
The Border Force Polices and soldiers are often rape the Rohingya women, beaten, forced to do slave labour and jailed for no reason.
Rohingyas are of Bengali origin but they are not Bangladeshs. They moved from India to Burma since long time ago before India divided as Bangladesh. Their language is different from Bengali. Its not even a dialect of Bengali. Its a sub-dialect of Chittagongian dialect of Bengali.
Bengalis don't understand Rohingya language. Rohingyas are Burma citizens even if their country Burma refuses to accept it.
Burma Citizenship Law of 1982 violate several fundamental principles of the international law and against the Human Right and discriminate on racial or ethnic minorities.
We need to try not only amend but completely repeal and write new Citizenship Law which pratice democracy, human right and diversity citizenship.
I believe that we have the only way is fighting for democracy and human right and changing people electied government can only lead to this.
All we have responsiblity to try to step down the regime military government. The international pressure is necessary to force step down the junta regime so-called government.
