Student protest for national educational law

Student protest was began on 14 nov 2014 against newly enacted National Education Law.
The law is controversy. The government didn't seek any advice from students and teachers. It is not allowed to study ethnic languages in higher education. The universities are under the control of Ministry of Education, no independent at all.
The main problem between students and government is the law does not recognize the student union and teacher union. Education is completely centralize by government.
The Junta always think the student union is the most dangerous for their power.
The only student union was found in the colonial period but it was destroyed by Military Junta in 1962 and the student union head office building inside Yangon University was exploded with dynamics. Many young students were died inside the building and by arm fire.
